TRUE COLOURS ON NEW CITY COLLECTION WEBSITE

Christine Eid’s sculpture installation True Colours (2014) was commissioned by the City of Melbourne for Hello Yellow: Melbourne Taxis – Stories, Colours & Manners, an exhibition Eid curated for the City Gallery, at the Melbourne Town Hall. The artwork is part of the City of Melbourne Art and Heritage Collection.

The Art and Heritage Collection is eclectic and composed of 8,000 items of cultural material with both indoor and outdoor components. It is regarded as the best capital city collection in Australia.
